October

This October has been very mild, light levels good & so far, no frosts.

Any plant raised in a wall basket is often out of the frost, but still very vulnerable. A plant in a pot only has a very small root run. This can & does happen in nature, so we see ferns & small leafed native plants growing out of damp walls in our yard. 

The flowering plants on the front of the building will soon be replaced with evergreens for the winter display.
